How can mobile fences be installed securely, sustainably, and efficiently in confined spaces?
During the construction of the new Esslingen District Office, Züblin tested FenzFoot in a real-world setting for the first time – with clear advantages over traditional solutions.
As part of a pilot project, around 100 linear meters of mobile fencing were installed using the FenzFoot system – some units filled with water, others anchored using FenzScrew ground screws. The goal was to test stability, usability, and installation processes under real construction site conditions.
The result: a stable, efficient, and easy-to-handle solution.
Public construction projects are increasingly subject to strict environmental requirements. FenzFoot is made from 100% recycled plastic and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions by eliminating the need for concrete – a clear advantage in sustainable building practices.
Previously, support braces were often necessary – if there was even space for them at all.
Now, with FenzFoot, the fence stands securely on its own. This reduces both material and installation effort, and lowers the risk of unauthorized access.
Beyond the technical solution, the collaboration was also a success:
The FenzFoot team responded quickly, provided flexible answers to challenges, and ensured fast on-site setup thanks to skilled personnel – reliable and professional throughout the process.
Conventional concrete bases are a thing of the past – we combine lightness, stability, and sustainability in one innovative product.
